French wine in Sg - A new winemaker and indigenous grape varieties

Le Petit Roubie has been managed by the same family since 1985. The team developed, thanks to a judicious choice of vinification, typical products South East of France.
The grapes are grown in a sunny aera and benefit Mediterranean mild climate.
Here we are at the heart of organic farmingmany simple and effective tricks (compost, seaweed, rock powder, partial or total grassing)  are used to take care of a vineyard while respecting the environment and the health of consumers (no more headache while degusting white wine).

 
Native grape varieties such as Tannat, Picpoul and Viognier are grown here as many others.
Tannat: it comes from the southern Aquitaine region, at the foot of the Pyrenees Mountains. Tannat is used to make colorful, highly tannic, lively wines, with a clearly acidic character. (to read more)
Picpoul: indigenous from Languedoc Roussillon region, it provides a lively white wine with high acidity, including citrus, herbal flavors and strong minerality. (to discover Picpoul)
Viognier: at once round, fruity and floral it combines acidity and body, subtility and power (to read more)
