On the third week of November wine sellers and restaurants all over France are preparing to party. Why? To celebrate the release of this year’s crop of “primeur” (first) wines.
Beaujolais was the first French area to celebrate but of course, these events were so successful that it has spread around: you would be able to party in Cotes du Rhone, Roussillon and also Gaillac (and others places).
Fun fact: the new wine is released at the same time on the third Thursday of November!
They produce a very flavored and light wine, easy to drink and to party with !
